Congrats to Hardscrabble participants

Our fifth Hardscrabble Mountain Trail Run was a day to remember thanks to our runners and walkers, the friends and family who came out to Bear Basin Ranch to cheer them on, our wonderful volunteers and our generous sponsors.

More than 220 people, including 39 kids, tackled the scenic, challenging course on a day tailor-made for running. Check out our complete race results, and check out our race-day photos.

We are grateful to all who made the Hardscrabble Run possible. You help protect land, water and wildlife in southern Colorado while there is still time.

Don't miss this very special event in 2018!

  • “We are situated along the Gold Belt National Scenic Byway, where several land trust organizations are involved with protection of lands. San Isabel was extremely well informed. We, and our neighbors, are very pleased with the end result, and the annual monitoring process is unobtrusive. I wish more folks would take the time to learn about the benefits San Isabel offers.”
