The work of award-winning landscape painter Dinah Worman is instantly recognizable by its clarity and depth. Light is everywhere. It filters through the trees and streams and between the clouds. After studying art at Colorado State University, University of Oklahoma and Metropolitan State University of Denver, a move to Sheridan, Wyo., allowed her to work with William E. Wright for three years. This experience encouraged her to continually renew her vision, pressing beyond method into a flow of creative instinct. While Dinah’s oil and pastel paintings are based on reality, the interpretation of the scene has become more important than the scene itself.

Dinah was the featured artist at the Coors Invitational Show in Denver and has had shows at the Trailside Gallery in Scottsdale and the Ann Korologos Gallery in Basalt, CO. Her work also could be seen at Saks Gallery in Denver and the Trailside Gallery in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Dinah’s home and studio are in Taos.
